Opened in 1984, this ultra modern sporting facility hosts a wide variety of athletic events, from show jumping, to boxing, and gymnastics. There is seating for up to 17,000 and the venue has also become widely known for its rock concerts, including the likes of the Smashing Pumpkins, Celine Dion, Barbara Streisand, and Guns 'n Roses.
Named after French aviator Roland Garros, this stadium is home to the French Open Grand Slam tennis tournament. Visitors to the stadium can dine at the restaurant on-site as well as visit the Tenniseum-a multimedia tennis museum.
Designed by architect Roger Taillibert and home to the local soccer squad, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), this 48,712 seat stadium was also the national home of the ever popular soccer league until the creation of the Stade de France for the 1998 World Cup.
